Shelford and Stapleford Strikers FC new website.

The club's  first venture into adult football came at the start of the 2006-07 season  with the formation of NST Strikers Sunday Seniors, a team set up to provide a pathway into men's football, which should provide a natural progression for the young NST players.

The team comprised mainly of the successful NST Strikers under-16s side from 2004-05, and included several players who first started turning out for the club when they were under-10.

The team joined the Tucker Gardner Alliance Sunday League and the aim at was to be competitive and finish in mid-table. But 15 wins from 18 league games, saw the side finish  runners up in Division Two, behind Bassingbourn, and win promotion to Division One at the first attempt.

Last season NST finished second in Division One behind Oakington Vikings and reached the semi-final of the Cambs FA Centenary Cup and made the move into the Cambridge Sunday League and start their Division Four campaign against Bayners Res on Sunday, August 31st 2008.

The team train at Sawston Village College on Thursday evenings and  welcome new players.
