UNDER-EIGHT
Thomas Kent smashed home five goals in a 10-minute period in the second half to take his tally to 18 for the season and help Willingham Wolves defeat Gamlingay United 9-0 in 8D.

Jonah Handy, Oliver Dale, Kailan Naidoo and a United own goal completed the scoring.

Keir Lauder managed his first goal for Arbury Aces, but they suffered a 6-1 defeat against Burwell Tigers in 8C.

Sully Tutt and Alfie Philips-Spicer bagged a goal each in Girton Colts' 5-2 loss at the hands of Swavesey Spartans in 8D.

Jayden Keeble-Wright and Justin Whyatt claimed a goal apiece for Cottenham United A, who beat Waterbeach 2-1 in 8C.

Ethan Murphy led the way for Fulbourn Falcons with a hat-trick in an 8-1 victory over Teversham Terriers in 8C. Other Falcons goals went to Tom Thulborn, Eliot Mann, Harry Summers, Riley Nixon and Lewis Traynier. Charlie Audley replied for Terriers.

Braces for Jack Brand and Declan Last, along with a single strike for James Taylor, saw to it that Fulbourn Institute were able to beat Newmarket Town D 5-1 in 8C.

Kard Edwards and Toby Swann found the back of the net, but it was Nas Osman's treble that made sure Milton took all three points with a 5-3 success at home to Newmarket Town B in 8C.

Mason McCandless netted two goals either side of a Jack Rowley strike to help Plantation come from a goal down to beat Hundon Hawks 3-2 in 8A.

Matthew Pierce's two goals turned out to be the difference for NST Strikers, who beat Withersfield 4-3 in 8A. Joe Lever and Oliver Lockyer also pounced for the Strikers.

Fin Creighton, Christian Bath, Miles Darling and Sam Foster all managed two goals for Histon Hornets on the way to an 8-0 defeat of Over Sports in 8D.

UNDER-10
CAMBRIDGE Celts A and B teams were forced to square off for the first time in the club's history for a place in the semi-finals of the League Cup.

And despite a bright start from the B side, who scored first through Sam Chalkin, it was the As who won through to the last four with a 5-1 scoreline thanks to goals from Ian Connolly, Patrick Collins, Oliver Cantrill, Benito Castiglione and Alex Wilson.

UNDER-11
Samuel Townshend struck his fifth hat-trick of the campaign on his way to five goals for Chesterton Eagles who flew past Papworth Blasters 11-0 in Division 11B.

Max Lang also got in on the act with his first treble of the season, while Oliver Duignan, Curtis Wood and James Safer all got one each.

Alfie Lowe inspired a dramatic second-half comeback with a treble for Chesterton Villa, who fought from 3-0 down at half time to beat Cherry Hinton Lions 5-3 in 11B. Jordan McIntyre and Adam Thomas also scored.

Luke Rawlinson got a consolation strike for Over Sports as they suffered a 5-1 loss at Comberton Crusaders in 11B.

UNDER-NINE
Joel Ferguson twice put Fulbourn Institute ahead but three goals in the last five minutes gave Newmarket Town B a 5-2 win in the end in 9B.

Goals for Chesterton Eagles from Roman Stanislawski, Harry Anderson-Chapman and Alex Millward were not enough as they slipped to an 8-3 loss at Fulbourn Falcons in 9E.

Alex Rankine came closest to scoring for Stukeley Meadows, but they ended up losing out 3-0 to higher-league opposition Brampton Spartans Blues in a friendly match.

UNDER-SEVEN
OWEN Dunnett hit St Neots' only goal of the weekend as they gave everything they had over two games against Hormead Hares, finishing with a 1-1 draw and a 1-0 defeat.

HUNTS MINI LEAGUE

UNDER-NINE

Calum Taylor hit the target twice and Toby Davies was also among the scorers, but they could not stop Bluntisham Blasters losing out 7-4 at Needingworth.

UNDER-10
Bluntisham Blasters captain Fred Jones fired his team into the lead twice, but they eventually lost out 5-2 to Needingworth.


A Stephen Boyles brace and a goal from skipper Paul Jenkinson eased West Wratting Reds into the semi-finals with a 3-0 victory over Hardwick Harriers.

Successful penalties from Charlie Woolf, Lewis Gillings and Shane Shanks put Walpole Warriors into the last four with a 3-2 shootout win over Soham Town after the game finished 1-1.

* Ben Wilson opened the scoring and also had the last say for Haverhill Rovers, who held Cambridge Diamonds to a 4-4 friendly draw. Dennon Ploughman and Harry Emsden also netted for the visitors.
